Last year Peter Schmid celebrated his 90th birthday. This milestone inspired the idea of creating an exhibition at TU/e (Technische Universität Eindhoven) that would not only showcase the remarkable work of his former graduates, but also highlight his own contribution as a pioneer of healthy and human-centred architecture. Dr. M.A. Juri Czabanowski took the initiative to organise an Exhibition with with Assistant Professor Sergio M. Figueiredo at TU/e, CASA vertigo. The Exhibition is titled : “The Logic of Life: Peter Schmid’s Bio-Logical Architecture”.
We are pleased that the exhibition will be held between January and March 2027.
We hope that many of you will join us in celebrating not only Professor Schmid’s legacy, but also the achievements and professional journeys of the many architects and designers who were shaped by their time at TU Eindhoven. We hope that this exhibition will bring together former students, colleagues, and friends in a memorable gathering, while inspiring today’s and tomorrow’s generation of architecture students. Above all, it will be a tribute to the life and work of Prof. Architect Peter Schmid and his lasting contribution to architecture, presented at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in 2027.
