Last year Peter Schmid celebrated his 90th birthday. This milestone inspired the idea of creating an exhibition at TU/e (Technische Universität Eindhoven) that would not only showcase the remarkable work of his former graduates, but also highlight his own contribution as a pioneer of healthy and human-centred architecture. Dr. M.A. Juri Czabanowski took the initiative to organise an Exhibition entitled with the working title Peter Schmid and the “Cradle of Eindhoven.”
Juri has already been in contact with Assistant Professor Sergio M. Figueiredo at TU/e, and we are pleased that there is an opportunity to hold the exhibition between January and March 2027.
We hope that many of you will join us in celebrating not only Professor Schmid’s legacy, but also the achievements and professional journeys of the many architects and designers who were shaped by their time at TU Eindhoven. Especially also the VIBA https://vibavereniging.nl
We hope that this exhibition will become a memorable gathering of former students, colleagues, friends and a Hommage in honour of Prof. Architect Peter Schmid at the Technical University Eindhoven (TU/e).
